We cannot say enough positive things about Alexander Rani and the high quality instruction that he provides to his students. Our daughter began taking lessons with Mr. Rani in December and has gone from never having picked up a guitar to playing quite a repertoire of both solo and duet pieces. Mr. Rani is kind, encouraging, and passionate about music. He works with students on an individual basis, tailoring his instruction to meet their unique needs and setting challenging yet attainable expectations. We highly recommend the NOVA Guitar Academy!

When I started researching guitar instructors for my daughter I came across glowing reviews for Alexander Rani. I read about how punctual he is, how professional he is, and how the kids enjoyed Mr. Alex so much they willingly practice without having to be "reminded" by their parents. My reaction to these reviews was, "Really? There's no instructor that's that good." Well, I was proven wrong! We gave him a try and my daughter loves her lessons. We willingly drive from Springfield, VA in afternoon traffic to enjoy learning from the best! He is more that what we expected and my daughter's guitar abilities have improved more in the past few months with Mr. Alex than it has in several years of instruction elsewhere.

My daughter has been extremely fortunate to learn from Mr. Alexander Rani. Words aren't enough to describe the passion he has for teaching guitar. He is kind, patient, has immense knowledge about music and is very professional. He is very accommodating with timings and schedule too. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher than him!

Great place to learn guitar!! My two sons (ages 10 and 11) have been taking lessons with Mr Rani at the NOVA Guitar Academy for just over a year and love it. They have learnt to read music and play classical guitar with such a wonderful teacher. Mr Rani is very enthusiastic and encouraging and has taught my boys with great kindness and professionalism. I would *highly* recommend the NOVA Guitar Academy to adults and children learning to play.

What a wonderful Guitar Academy!
Mr. Rani is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. My son comes out with a smile on his face every time he goes, and a whole bunch of wonderful songs to play at home. He is progressing at a great rate, and looks forward to his lessons. He is so motivated that he practices every day for a long time without any reminders.
Mr. Rani is great at communicating with the students. He is not only teaching my son classical guitar, but also music theory, and note reading.
The rates are reasonable, specially considering that the teacher is a world renowned professional guitar player. He is very patient, and flexible.
The studio is in a great location (you can wash your car, go to the mall, get a cup of coffee, do some grocery shopping..... while you wait for the class to end)
I highly recommend this Academy.
